With over 40 years of technical and commercial project and construction management experience, Roland has established a distinguished career across the agricultural, energy, construction, mining, transport, and government sectors. His work spans globally, including Australia, Asia, Europe, and the United States. A recognized authority in sustainable project solutions, Roland is frequently called upon to provide expert advice on integrating environmentally responsible practices into complex engineering and construction projects.

Roland’s expertise includes pioneering the development of renewable energy solutions, particularly through the conversion of agricultural biomass into eco-friendly products such as ethanol, high-energy granules, pellets, bio-oils, and syngas, all sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels. His contributions to agricultural innovation are equally significant, producing biochar and pyroligneous acid (wood vinegar) to improve soil health and boost farm productivity.

Roland holds a Bachelor of Engineering, a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management, and is a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia.
